Driver Education Program 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction $100 8 Required 90 Minute Driving Lessons at $80/each 6 Hours Observation $0 2 Hours Parent Class $0 Payment for classroom instruction is due on the first day of class. All road lessons can be prepaid by cash or check or on a pay as you go basis. Driver Education Certificate $25.00 ( Includes $10 Admin Fee) Payment must be made on or before last lesson by cash or check. Certificates will not be sent for until all payments have been rendered. Road Lessons Only $80 per 90 minute Lesson Also known as a "Commercial Lesson" these are payable by cash or check on or before each lesson. License Road Test As an additional service, license road tests are available through Chelmsford Auto School. Payment must be made by cash or check. Registry of Motor Vehicles - Lowell, Lawrence, Leomister, Wilmington - $100 Registry of Motor Vehicles - Haverhill, Worcester, Watertown - $150 NOTE: All comp tests are $150 at all RMV locations. Cancellation Fee/Returned Checks A $40 per 90 minute lesson cancellation fee will be charged to any student that does not show up for a driving lesson and does not provide a 24 hour cancellation notice. All lessons will be suspended until payment has been made at the next lesson or at our office. Also, there is a $20 charge for any returned check. Registry of Motor Vehicles Learner's Permit $30 License Application Fee $20 5 Year Picture License $50 These fees are paid directly to the Registry of Motor Vehicles at the time the learner's permit and driver's licenses are obtained.
